SUMMARY: The National Institute on Aging (NIA), National Institutes of Health, solicits Research Project Grant (R01) applications that propose to translate basic findings from Behavioral Economics into behavior change interventions targeting health behaviors associated with chronic health conditions of mid-life and older age. Recovery Act Limited Competition: Building Sustainable Community-Linked Infrastructure to Enable Health Science Research (RC4)

Walgreens Community Giving

SUMMARY
: Most Walgreen grants are made to eligible nonprofits working in local Walgreen communities. A portion of the budget is reserved for select national organizations. SUMMARY: Grant fund programs focused on youth education, healthy lives, and diversity and service. In the area of youth education, GE Healthcare is interested in proposals that address underserved communities with low graduation rates, support core competences, (such as math, science, reading, and writing, ), focus on arts in education, and support early childhood development programs. Utilizing Health Information Technology (IT) to Improve Health Care Quality

Millennium Promise Awards: Non-communicable Chronic Diseases Research Training Program (NCoD) (D43)
