Governor Strickland signed an Executive Order (Executive Order 2007-11S) on the 30th of May establishing a Study Council to Provide Recommendations Regarding the Creation of the Ohio Department of Veterans' Affairs. The final report was provided by the council to the Governor on the 28th of December, 2007.
