Five Statewide Investments to Create More Than $23 Million in New Payroll

COLUMBUS – Today Governor John R. Kasich announced the approval of assistance for five projects set to create 670 jobs and retain 1,419 jobs statewide. During its monthly meeting, the Ohio Tax Credit Authority (TCA) reviewed economic development proposals brought to the board by JobsOhio and its regional partners. Collectively, the projects are expected to result in $23,192,249 in new payroll and spur approximately $134.8 million in investment across Ohio.

Projects approved by the TCA include:

NORTHWEST

ConAgra Foods Packaged Foods, LLC, Village of Archbold (Fulton Co.) expects to create 107 full-time positions, generating $5.4 million in new annual payroll and retaining $13 million in existing payroll as a result of the company’s expansion project in the Village of Archbold (Fulton Co.). ConAgra Foods, a packaged foods company, makes and sells products under various brand names. The TCA approved a 1.121 percent, six-year Job Creation Tax Credit for this project.

The Worthington Steel Company, York Township (Fulton Co.) expects to create 26 full-time positions, generating $1.5 million in new annual payroll and retaining $12.9 million in existing payroll as a result of the company’s expansion project in York Township (Fulton Co.). The Worthington Steel Company is a steel processing company. The TCA approved a 1.086 percent, six-year Job Creation Tax Credit for this project.

SOUTHWEST

CC Kitchens LLC, City of Sharonville (Hamilton Co.) expects to create 355 full-time positions, generating $9.1 million in new annual payroll and retaining $126,555 in existing payroll as a result of the company’s expansion project in the City of Sharonville (Hamilton Co.). CC Kitchens produces fresh-cut fruits, vegetables and prepared sandwiches for grocery retailers and convenience stores. The TCA approved a 1.214 percent, eight-year Job Creation Tax Credit for this project.

Pacific Manufacturing Ohio, Inc., City of Fairfield (Butler Co.) expects to create 62 full-time positions, generating $1.9 million in new annual payroll and retaining $26.6 million in existing payroll as a result of the company’s expansion project in the City of Fairfield (Butler Co.). Pacific Manufacturing Ohio is an auto parts supplier. The TCA approved a 0.576 percent, seven-year Job Creation Tax Credit for this project.

StandardAero Component Services, Inc., City of Sharonville (Hamilton Co.) expects to create 120 full-time positions, generating $5.2 million in new annual payroll and retaining $26.1 million in existing payroll as a result of the company’s expansion project in the City of Sharonville (Hamilton Co.). StandardAero is a maintenance, repair and overhaul provider. The TCA approved a 1.260 percent, six-year Job Creation Tax Credit for this project.
