Kasich Announces Appointment to Findlay Municipal Court September 8, 2016 COLUMBUS – Today Governor John R. Kasich announced the appointment of Mark C. Miller of Findlay (Hancock Co.) to serve as a judge on the Findlay Municipal Court. Miller will assume office on September 23, 2016 and must run in the November 2017 election to retain the seat for the full term commencing January 1, 2018. Miller is replacing Judge Robert A. Fry, who resigned. Miller received his bachelor’s degree from Kent State University and his juris doctorate from Ohio Northern University. Miller has served as Hancock County prosecutor since 2007. Miller is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, Hancock County Bar Association, National District Attorneys Association and the Ohio Prosecuting Attorneys Association. He has also been a member of the Hancock County Opiate Task Force and the Ohio Organized Crime Investigations Commission.
