Kasich Orders Flags Flown at Half-Staff in Honor of Sergeant Cameron H. Thomas

COLUMBUS - Today Governor John R. Kasich ordered that all flags be flown at half-staff upon all public buildings and grounds throughout Montgomery County and at the Ohio Statehouse from sunrise to sunset on May 13, 2017, in honor of U.S. Army Ranger Sgt. Cameron H. Thomas who lost his life last month while serving his country in Afghanistan.

Kasich’s order reads: “In honor of the life and service of Sgt. Cameron H. Thomas, I hereby proclaim, by the authority vested in me as Governor of the State of Ohio by the Ohio Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, that the flags of the United States of America and the State of Ohio shall be flown at half-staff upon all public buildings and grounds throughout Montgomery County and at the Ohio Statehouse from sunrise to sunset on May 13, 2017.”
