Host Committee Member Pledge

Join the Momentum 2010 statewide organizing effort by becoming a member of our host committee.

As a member of the host committee, I pledge to…


•	Attend the Ohio Women’s Summit on March 8, 2010.

•	Serve as a local ambassador to organize for and promote Momentum 2010.

•	Participate in conference calls and meetings as needed.

•	Inform my community (e.g., family, friends, neighbors and community members) about the summit. Distribute promotional information about Momentum 2010 as provided by the Governor’s Office for Women’s Initiatives and Outreach (GOWIO).

•	Recruit 10 people (e.g., daughter, sister, mother, friends, co-workers and community members) to participate in the Ohio Women’s Summit.

•	Enlist three to five local, nonprofit businesses or organizations to become supporting organizations* by Sept. 1, 2009.

•	Other activities as outlines by GOWIO.


*A supporting organization is a non-profit, membership-based organization willing to promote the conference to its membership and does not include financial commitment.
