We were joined by Ohio Department of Transportation director Jolene Molitoris, who discussed the exciting plans for a 3C “Quick Start” Passenger Rail that would give 60% of Ohioans a whole new method of travel. To read about these plans, click here.

We hosted our monthly host committee conference call. We were joined by Nancy Chen from the  Women's Bureau, US Department of Labor, region V. Ms. Chen gave a fantastic introduction to her office and its many projects, such as green job initiatives. We look forward to continuing to work with her and her staff towards Momentum 2010.

This month’s call also focused on our recent girls discussions, results from last month’s survey regarding content and a refresher of information for host committee members about recruiting supporting organizations. To read notes from yesterday’s conference call please click here.
