Kasich Announces Appointment to Warren County Court of Common Pleas, General Division June 24, 2015 COLUMBUS - Today Governor John R. Kasich announced the appointment of Michael E. Gilb of Mason (Warren Co.) to serve as a judge on the Warren County Court of Common Pleas, General Division. Gilb will assume office on July 1, 2015, and must run in November 2016 to retain the seat for the full term commencing January 2, 2017. Gilb is replacing Judge Robert W. Peeler, who has been elected to the Warren County Court of Common Pleas, General Division. Gilb received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Cincinnati and his Juris Doctorate from Ohio Northern University. His experience includes service as St. Henry Village Solicitor and Mediator to the Mason Municipal Court. He also has experience working with multiple prominent law firms in the area. He previously served as a State Representative and as councilman for the Mason City Council. Gilb is a member of the Mason City Zoning Commission.
