Kasich Announces Appointment to Elyria Municipal Court

COLUMBUS – Today Governor John R. Kasich announced the appointment of Robert C. White of LaGrange (Lorain Co.) to serve as a judge on the Elyria Municipal Court.  White will assume office on February 6, 2018, and must run in the November 2019 election to complete the remainder of the unexpired term which ends January 1, 2022.  White is replacing Judge Lisa A. Locke Graves, who retired.

White received his bachelor’s degree from Cleveland State University and his Juris Doctorate from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. White has served periodically as an Acting Judge in the Elyria Municipal Court since 2016.

White is a member of the Lorain County Bar Association, the Ohio State Bar Association, and the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association. White was previously an Associate Attorney with Seeley, Savidge & Aussem Co., LPA and is currently a Partner in the firm of Lessing, White & Roig, Ltd. in Elyria. He also served as a Carlisle Township Trustee for 11 years and currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors of University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center.
