Kasich Signs Two Executive Orders

COLUMBUS – Today Governor John R. Kasich signed two Executive Orders:

Executive Order 2018-07K permits the emergency filing of a Department of Medicaid rule that allows behavioral health practitioners who have had certain past convictions to be enrolled as Medicaid providers, as part of the Ohio Department of Medicaid’s behavioral health redesign.

Executive Order 2018-08K authorizes the expenditure of $6.54 million in Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) funds. The Governor’s Office of Faith-Based Initiatives will use the funds to assist Moms2B, After-School All-Stars, the Truly Reaching You Prisoner Reentry Program, Mom’s House, Coats for Kids, and Operation Warm.
