Led by Lt. Governor Jon Husted, Ohio’s Common Sense Initiative (CSI) reviews business-impacting rules, helps businesses navigate regulatory obstacles, and leads initiatives to improve Ohio’s regulatory climate. CSI was formed to propel job and economic growth in Ohio.

From the beginning of the DeWine-Husted Administration through the end of 2022, CSI has reviewed over 9,100 state agency regulations, and has identified 50 percent of those regulations as potential obstacles to Ohio businesses. All of those identified regulations were either amended or rescinded.
