Thank you for contacting the Governor’s Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives. Due to COVID-19, we are experiencing high volumes of messages from constituents that are concerned about the safety of their families and their communities. It is important to Governor DeWine that your concerns are being expressed to the department with the designated authority to address your needs.
If you are having trouble with contacting the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services, Governor DeWine asks for your patience as ODJFS is in the process of expanding it’s capacity to take phone calls by adding staff to their call center. ODJFS is open from 7am-7pm Monday through Friday and from 9am-1pm on Saturday. It is our best recommendation that you contact their office via the website. Please note that the website is also receiving high volumes of activity that will require patience however new servers are being added to address your requests. All inquiries regarding unemployment and benefits will need to be directed to https://unemployment.ohio.gov/.
